Community Christmas Party Information, Policy and Terms

Date and Duration:
The event is on Saturday 28th December 2024 and runs from 12:00 PM to approximately 6:00 PM.
A 3-course meal, entertainment and tea, coffee, soft drinks, and water will be provided free of charge throughout the day.

Eligibility:
This event is open to all members of the local community, ideally those within a 20-mile radius of the two pantries located in
Connah's Quay and Sandycroft, to ensure reasonable travel to and from the venue.

Booking, Confirmation and Cancellations:
Booking is essential. No one will be permitted entry without a confirmed reservation. Your booking will be confirmed via
email or phone, with a reminder sent closer to the date. If you can no longer attend, please inform us as soon as possible so
we can reallocate your places to those on the waiting list.

Arrival and Registration:
When you arrive, our volunteers will be there to welcome you, confirm your name, and check your places on the guest list. As the event is fully booked, seating is allocated, and it is very important that you do not bring additional guests. A seating plan will be in place.

Accessibility:
The venue is wheelchair accessible. If you have specific accessibility needs or require accommodations, please contact us in advance so we can assist where possible.

Health and Safety:
If you feel unwell, especially with cold or flu symptoms, we kindly ask that you stay home to protect the health of other
attendees. Please contact Rachael on 07984559001 so we can make a note of your absence.

Alcohol and Substance Policy:
Alcohol and illegal substances are strictly prohibited on the premises or in its vicinity. Anyone found violating this rule will be required to leave. Vaping is not permitted inside the building; however, you may do so outside in designated areas.

Behaviour Expectations:
To ensure a welcoming and family-friendly atmosphere, we ask all attendees to behave respectfully and courteously. Disruptive or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and may result in being asked to leave the event.

Children's Supervision:
Children are warmly welcome at the event. However, parents or guardians must supervise them at all times to ensure their safety and enjoyment.

Valuables and Lost Property:
Please take care of your belongings, especially valuables such as mobile phones. Any items brought to the event are your
responsibility, and the venue owners/organisers cannot be held liable for lost or damaged property. Items left behind will be collected
after the event and stored securely for retrieval.

Food and Menu:
A delicious three-course Christmas meal will be served, with a vegetarian option available. Please note that we cannot accommodate specific menu requests or dietary restrictions. An allergen list will be provided, allowing you to make an informed choice when booking.

Dress Code:
There is no strict dress code - please wear whatever makes you comfortable. Festive attire, such as Christmas jumpers, is always welcome! However, as children will be present, we ask that all attire remains appropriate.

Photography and Media:
Photographs and videos will be taken during the event for promotional purposes. If you prefer not to appear in any images or recordings, please inform the staff upon arrival.

Parking and Transportation:
Please plan your journey accordingly to arrive on time. Parking near the venue is limited to street parking, which may fill up quickly.
Please check local signage for restrictions and ensure you park legally. Consider carpooling, using public transport, or arranging drop-offs to make your journey easier.

Our community Christmas party has always been a great success, and we are committed to making it as enjoyable as
